Airplane Mode
You can use Airplane Mode to turn off your device's wireless features while you're flying in an airplane. You can turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth separately while in Airplane Mode.
Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that allows devices, such as your iPad, to connect with the Internet. From here, you can connect to a Wi-Fi network. You may have to enter a passcode to connect. Once you've joined the network, you'll see a blue checkmark next to the network and the Wi-Fi icon in the upper corner of your display.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth lets you make short-range wireless connections (up to 30 feet) between your Mac and devices such as mobile phones and peripherals. You can use Bluetooth to connect to a wireless keyboard, mouse, headset, or printer. Bluetooth can also be used to share files between two smart devices.
Notifications
Manage notifications from here and minimize interruptions throughout the day. Watch the video under Control Notifications below to learn more.
Sounds
Change the sounds your iPad plays when you get a call, text, voicemail, email, reminder, or other types of notification. Vibrations allow you to feel a tap—called haptic feedback—after performing some actions, such as when you touch and hold the Camera icon on the Home Screen.
Do Not Disturb
With Do Not Disturb, you can silence calls, alerts, and notifications that you get while your device is locked. You can also schedule Do Not Disturb and allow calls from certain people.
Screen Time
With Screen Time, you can access real-time reports showing how much time you spend on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. You can also set limits for what you want to manage.

Zoom and Magnification are simple accessibility features that can help users see their device's content better. It is activated with simple gestures, a three-fingered tap, and can be activated, deactivated, and adjusted as you required it without having to change your device settings constantly.
Starting in iOS 16 and iPadOS 16, you can use your iPhone or iPad with LiDAR to help you identify when people and objects are near while moving around. You can use People Detection, Door Detection, or Image Descriptions in Magnifier to get rich descriptions of your surroundings, including text and symbols around a door, how far away you are standing, and even how to open it.
The larger text accessibility setting allows users to adjust the size of the text for messages, emails and select Apple apps.
This video will cover using Spoken Content on the iPad, including the Speak Selection feature and the Speak Screen feature.
With Eye Tracking, you can control an iPhone or iPad using just your eyes. An onscreen pointer follows the movement of your eyes, and when you look at an item and hold your gaze steady or dwell, you perform an action, such as a tap.
With AssistiveTouch, you can customize how you navigate your iPhone by creating your own menu and gestures, which can be helpful if you have limited dexterity or hand strength. It can also be helpful if you're accustomed to a home button and would like to customize assistive touch to perform similar actions. The second video will show you how to add a custom action, like switching apps or checking notifications, when you double-tap the AssistiveTouch button.
With Voice Control, you can use dictation to edit text with your voice in emails, notes, messages, and anywhere else you can type.

Assistive Access allows a trusted supporter or caregiver to set up a plain display for an end user. They would need access to the Apple ID associated with the iDevice to set up.
Guided Access limits your device to a single app and lets you control which features are available. You can turn on Guided Access when you let a child use your device, or when accidental gestures might distract you.
