Career Events are intended for K-12 Students to explore the variety of career pathways that are available locally. Depending on the event, it may serve a specific age demographic to ensure the appropriate level of education is provided. We could not host our events without the support of our businesses and community members. 

Career Exploration Events include events like Career Days and Discover Days. Career Days typically have 20-60 employers attend to explain to students their individual career path, what their career entails, and what the business they work for does. Discover Days give students a closer look into a career field by hearing from professionals in that field and by participating in a specific activity. 

The goal of Career Exploration Events is to spark an interest in a student's career path by listening to a professional talk about their own. The vision is that students will be exposed to most of the career paths in our area, so they have all the resources to make an informed career path.
