OnCAM+TRW 2022 - Flash Fiction Challenge

Tell a story in just six words!

The Flash Fiction Challenge: Six-Word Stories is an intra-level competition that is open to all students of the Ateneo Junior High School. It aims to promote creative thinking through writing effective and impactful stories in a concise and compact manner.

Flash Fiction is a genre of fiction that features a very short story that is only usually capped at 250 words in length. This type of writing requires creativity to come up with an interesting plot encapsulated in just a few words.

For the onCAM X Teen Read Week celebration, you will be challenged to write your own flash fiction in only six words! A popular example is Ernest Hemingway's "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."

📋 Mechanics

Write a six-word story given the prompt "A Horror Story".
Each class must submit an entry. It may be done by an individual student or you may work together to come-up with a class entry.
Submit your six-word story entry to the onCAM Committee for evaluation via the attached Google Form below.
Only three (3) flash fiction works from each grade level shall be awarded Champion, 1st Runner-Up, and 2nd Runner-Up.
