The whole event is entirely asynchronous through the asynchronous assignment feature of Quizizz.
Each topic will have 15 - 20 questions. The questions will no longer be divided according to difficulty (it is not possible on the platform). Questions and answers will be shuffled randomly.
The time allotted for all questions will be 20 seconds. This is to prevent participants from having the time to Google the answers. Correct answers will be rewarded with 600 points plus a possible 400 additional points (depending on speed).
You can only attempt the quiz ONCE.
Teasers will be released for each topic, highlighting the expert that you will be up against and giving you pertinent details (when the link will be live, until when, etc.).
The goal is for you to get a higher score than the geek. The leaderboard at the end of the quiz will show who received the most points.
Badges will be awarded to participants who can score higher than the geeks.
