The JHS Health Services Clinics are closed on weekends and holidays.

How can I contact the AJHS Health Services

The following are our contact details:

Does the AJHS Health Services still offer Telemedecine?

No. Both clinics are open to provide onsite/face-to-face consultation and first-aid treatment to students.  Online consultation will only be available on school days when students are on an online set-up on an appointment-only basis.

What is the current protocol about students who get sick (e.g. cough, cold, sore throat, fever)?

For this, please read the JHS Safety and Health Protocol SY 2023-2024 that we prepared. This was also included in the students' Learning Companion SY 2023-2024, page 47.

What do I do if my son is sick and cannot come to school?

If your son is sick or is not well enough to come to school, please send us and his class moderator an email. Our email address is healthservices.ajhs@ateneo.edu. We will reply to you with instructions about your next steps.

When do I need to get a Medical Certificate/Medical Clearance for my son and where will he present it?

In the event that your son will be absent for more than 2 days, he will be required to submit a medical certificate/clearance from their pediatrician/physician which he will present in the school clinic on the day of his return before he goes to the classroom, to obtain his permit to join class.

Who can give my son Medical Clearance if he is absent for 3 or more days?

It is best that you bring him to his pediatrician/family physician to get a medical certificate/clearance.

What do I need to do if my son gets sent home?

You need to pick him up, or arrange for his pick-up if you are not available. He will wait for his fetcher in the clinic while he rests/sleeps on the bed available in the facility. The one who will pick him up shall sign a document in the clinic as proof that your son was handed over to the parent/guardian.

Where do I submit the Medical and Dental Forms?

The Basic Health Services Units (GS/ JHS/ SHS) will be adopting a system called BluEHR (Blu Electronic Health Record), to manage its medical and dental records as electronic medical records. You may bring your son/s or ward/s to their respective doctors and dentists to accomplish the AJHS Student Medical Exam Form and the AJHS Student Dental Exam Form so they are ready for upload once the system is up and running. We will be sending the link of the BluPHR (Blu Personal Health Record) to you so you can upload your son’s medical and dental forms. These uploaded forms will automatically show in the clinic’s BluEHR system.
