Artist Bio
Meghan Macdonald is an artist based in Kjipuktuk (Halifax) working primarily in textiles. Her work is often inspired by ephemeral materials, personal collections and imagined environments, expanding into stop-motion animation, papier-mâché, and watercolour painting.
She holds an Advanced Honours Diploma in Craft and Design from Sheridan College, an Interdisciplinary BFA from NSCAD University and is a graduate of the NSCAD Master of Arts in Art Education program.

Explore cyanotype printing on a variety of surfaces! Using the power of the sun, workshop participants will create a series of experimental blue and white prints with everyday objects. Cyanotype is accessible for all grade levels and would be a fun process to bring back to your art classrooms.
