Perceptions of fraternity and sorority life differ widely among parents and students entering college. We hope that this website will bring those perceptions together and, in doing so, answer many of the questions typically asked by parents, regardless of their familiarity with the Greek community. We also hope to convey the many opportunities available through fraternity and sorority membership.

Social fraternities and sororities have played an integral part of student life at Arizona State University for decades. Current and alumni members can attest to the plethora of social, academic, and professional connections members have made through Greek Life. Over the course of 50+ years, Arizona State University's Greek Life has diversified immensely and our identity as a "New American University" consistently goes against the status quo of "stereotypical" Greek Life. While fraternities and sororities still have their traditions, we pride ourselves on our innovation and forward thinking. Whether it's in the classroom, in the workplace, or in the community, members of fraternities and sororities at Arizona State never cease to go above and beyond. Greek Life at Arizona State has raised over $100,000 for various charitable organizations and the community as well as maintain a higher GPA average than non-greeks.

The rich history of Arizona State's Greek system has been a productive one and a unique part of that tradition continues after graduation. Fraternal bonds contribute actively to the preservation of history and folklore of the buttes and, ultimately, to the support of the University. In the Tempe area, the Greek community provides important support to local charity and community service agencies. The impact that Greek-Lettered Organizations have on the community and individual speaks volumes to their true purpose.
