Phi Kappa Theta ("Phi Kap") has been a chapter at Arizona State for a little over a year, and we have reached outstanding goals in that time. Ending Spring 2017 with 57 men, we begin Fall 2017 with 47 excellent gentlemen. Since our chartering, we have: Launched our own annual blood drive, won ASU intramural basketball championship by 25 points (undefeated), launched multiple annual date parties and brotherhood events, placed 3rd in Greek Week, recruited more members each semester than the one before, built from scratch and constantly improved new member education courses, won one philanthropy, came in second place in Alpha Phi philanthropy two years in a row, participated in over 10 sorority philanthropies, maintained a top-5 fraternity GPA each semester, selected two outstanding Sweethearts, and played in over a dozen intramural leagues, among many other achievements. Each semester offers us an opportunity to reach a new height, adding importance to every role within the fraternity, of which we have created over 25.
Phi Kap at ASU plans to continue growing and succeeding by finding those who have the potential to become better men, better citizens, better students and better friends, and then catalyzing their progression. Furthermore, Phi Kappa Theta constantly strives to run as efficiently as a well-oiled business, in order to enhance brothers' experiences and learning potential. This requires finding a diverse mix, both academically and culturally, of new members and opening our doors to those who might otherwise disregard Greek life. We set quantifiable, ambitious goals every semester, with the ultimate goal of becoming a prominent student-run organization on the ASU campus and in the Tempe community. Lastly, Phi Kappa Theta accepts no other scenario than one in which all the members of the fraternity treat one another with love and respect, as well as the members of their Greek and Arizona State University communities.
