Most apartment complexes and employers will request a copy of your State ID and Social Security Card. It is also beneficial to have a copy of your Birth Certificate or proof of citizenship for possible housing opportunities.
It is also beneficial to complete your Housing Assessment (TAY-VI-SPDAT), which will open up more housing opportunities for you.
How to obtain significant documents:
State ID – Homeless ID Project and the MVD on the Key Campus (formally known as the Human Services Campus)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 1pm
Social Security Card – Social Security Office (Locations)
The Homeless ID Project on the Key Campus will also be providing Social Security Card services on Wednesday, 10am - 12pm
You will need your State ID to order a Social Security Card
Birth Certificate – Homeless ID Project on the Key Campus (Monday - Friday, 8am - 1pm)
