Step 3: Review the four tabs below.
Sending Courses to ASU
It is important that you send all previous coursework from all schools attended to ASU Admissions. If you have already sent in your transcripts while you were still enrolled in courses, you will need to send updated transcripts to ASU once those in-progress courses have been completed and final grades have posted.
For Scholarship, FAFSA, and Loan related questions, please refer to ASU Financial Aid and Scholarship Services.
If you are transferring to ASU and do not have transferrable credit for College Algebra (MAT 117), Pre-Calculus (MAT 170), or Calculus (MAT 265/270, 266/271, 267/272), then you will be required to take the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment in order to enroll in any math course at ASU, no exceptions can be made.
You can find the steps on how to take the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment HERE!
You have a total of three attempts on the ALEKS and we will use your highest score to determine your math placement.
Getting Transfer Coursework Evaluated
To find how your other college courses transfer, please use the ASU Transfer Guide to see if ASU has pre-evaluated your courses. If your courses have been evaluated and the ASU Equivalent Course is a specific class (i.e., MAT 265, PHY 121, etc.) then you are all set.
If the course or college does not show up at all in the ASU Transfer Guide, you need to submit the course to ASU for further evaluation, which you can do by clicking HERE!
For further evaluations, a syllabus is required.
These evaluations can take several weeks, so it is important to submit them as soon as possible.
Step 4: Introductory Videos
An overview of how to search for general studies courses on class search.
