Principal Investigator

Mark K.-C. Wang, Ph.D.

Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor in the School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering (SBHSE) and a faculty member of the Biological Design Graduate Program at ASU. He completed his PhD and postdoc training in the University of California, San Diego. His current research focuses on developing nanosized theranostics for cardiovascular diseases.

Ting-Yun (Sally) Wang, MS

PhD Student, Biological Design Graduate Program 

Sally received her MSc. degree from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and is currently pursuing her PhD degree in Biological Design under the mentorship of Dr. Mark Wang. Sally's research involves using nanoparticles to deliver small molecule inhibitor and synthetic nucleic acids for cardiovascular disease treatment. 


Joshua Rousseau, BS

PhD Student, Biomedical Engineering

Joshua graduated from the University of Michigan in 2020 with a dual bachelors in mechanical engineering and bioengineering along with a minor in psychology. Currently, Joshua studies nanoparticle based diagnostic imaging for early detection of cardiovascular disease.
