Fernando is a 31 year old queer, Mexicoamericano and a recent ASU alumni. He drove for Uber on and off throughout seven years, but it was in the last two years of his journey that he decided to make use of the tuition benefit and finish his bachelor of arts in innovation in society. He is a first-generation college student and his experience focuses on non-profit, activism, community engagement, and education.

Fernando was inspired to create an online platform that would help Uber drivers from all across the country have a better academic experience while navigating two completely different institutions demanding different things from students.
