Poetry - F*#! Low Days and Other Sentiments
Farewell
Farewell
We’ve all had fairweather friends.
I’ve had my fair share.
Those who are happy to soak up my sunshine
and bask in my rays.
But those fairweather folk fear the floods
that come raining from my eyes.
They save themselves from the
horrors of the hurricane deep within my heart.
I’ve had my fair share.
So you’d think I’d know better than to fall for a fairweather lover.
