SCAI functions as a team to assist students with registration or academic-related queries. All emails must be sent to our inbox and one of us will reply as soon as we can, typically within 2-3 business days. During peak advising times, it may take 3-5 business days. Be sure you include your 10-digit ASU ID number in all correspondence.

Students are required to complete the onboarding/orientation before meeting with an advisor.
You are not required to schedule an advising appointment prior to registering for classes.
30-Minute Advising Appointments (Zoom)
Students can schedule a regular, 30-minute advising appointment with any available advisor who advises for your degree program and campus.
15-Minute "Drop-In" Advising Sessions (Zoom)
Drop-In Advising is available around the start of every session. It is intended for brief questions and limited to 15 minutes maximum, per student.
You do not need to sign up for drop-in advising, simply join the zoom room via the link during scheduled availability:

We will only be monitoring the Zoom room during the specified days/times. Students will be seen in the order they entered the Zoom room. Do not enter the room prior to the start time.
Students entering the Zoom with less than 15 minutes left before the close of the session may not be seen, depending on availability.
Students can submit brief questions to advising and receive quick responses during Slack advising hours (see the advising calendar)
