Shintaro Kago

Born in 1969, is a manga artist, who is best known for his works in the "guro" genre that focuses on eroticism, sexual corruption, and decadence that deals with themes of extreme sex, violence and abnormality. Kago debuted in Comic Box in 1988 and has gained noriety throughout the years through his extreme depictions of bodily horror.

Junji Ito

Born in 1963, is a horror manga artist that is best known for his works "Uzumaki," "Tomie" and "Gyo." He gained noriety for his characters that act out on irrational compulsion, body horror and depictions of ordinary people who find themselves victims of "unnatural circumstances." Ito debuted after his story Tomie became serialized in 1987 after submitting a short story to Japan's Monthly Halloween.

Suehiro Marou

Born in 1956, is an artist that is well renown for his work within the manga subgenre as he is influenced by traditional Japanese Ukiyo-e priknts and Western fine art. Marou started his career creating comic strips in porn magazines and gained international cult following due to Midori: Shoujo Tsubaki or also known as, Mr. Arashi's Amazing Freak Show.
