From the Musicians

"This gig is you know part of it is being an entertainer and part of it is being a musician. Some people have one but not the other."

"I think when you're musically solid, that's when you have the freedom to really entertain well. That's why we practice. We practice so that when we're on stage we can just let it come out of us you know? "

"So the best analogy is in order to do this, there’s a pane of glass between the stage and the audience. You have to break the glass. You have to - there are players who do this gig in certain rooms and they play their songs and they never break that glass. They’re playing the song, there's on stage, the audience is over there they never break it… The best way to do is…just communicate with the audience."

"We were taught basic rules way back when, but when you’re on stage, you’re are not thinking about those things. You’re thinking 2-3 steps in front of you, while at the same time playing the songs, talking to other people."

"It’s almost like you're - instead of getting together and listening to music with your friends, you're getting together and playing that music that you love with your friends and that's why the audience likes it. If you're doing it right you feel like you're all hanging out at a house party in someone’s basement or something and everyone is kind of singing a long together. So it’s sort of like a portal to ... celebrating these different styles and genres"
