Course Registration

2. 1. Click “BryteWave” link on the left navigation in Canvas course to get their access code.  

   2. Click "Login" and enter your ASU email address EXACTLY as it appears in the ASU directory Students will then receive an access code that they will need for the next step.  

   3. If they have trouble with this step, they can contact the ASU bookstore asuinclusiveaccess@gmail.com. 

To register for your courseware/MyLab:

1. 1. Your instructor should have enabled the “Access Pearson” tool on the left navigation bar in Canvas –

   2. Click on “Access Pearson” and follow the Yellow “Open Pearson” 

   3. Follow the prompts to create or sign into your Pearson account.  

   4. When asked, enter the code from step #2 above into the necessary input area to gain access to their course materials.

Page Loading Issues

• The course/eText shows a blank white screen. Blank white screens are indicators that the browser is blocking Pearson content. This is most often fixed by:

o Clearing cache and cookies.

• If using a PC, a shortcut for this is often [Ctrl] + [Shift] +[Delete]

• If using a Mac, a common shortcut for this is often [CMD] + [ALT] + [E]

o Ensuring the browser is set to allow pop ups. o Running Pearson’s Browser check.

• I see an error message on my screen.

Access Pearson Support's library. If the list does not show the error message you see, use search bar at the top of the screen to search for the message or the error code provided. You may need to select Contact Us to work with an agent.

• How do I contact Pearson Support?

Always begin by searching within the Pearson Support Library. If your issue is not in the library, select Contact Us in the upper right corner of the screen. Complete a contact form, then select the chat button to begin.

You may chat with a bot or request an agent. There is no direct telephone line to support, and all contact must begin on the website and through the chat button.
