About me
Hi!I am Dr. Tuna Yildirim. I am a theoretical/mathematical physicist who specialized in gravity and high energy physics. I am originally from Ankara, Turkey. I got my PhD degree from The University of Iowa in 2014, and since then I have been teaching physics at Arizona State University.
I have done research on black hole physics and mathematical physics related to particle physics. I am a teaching faculty and I am not very active on research anymore. Now I only do research when I have free time.
Outside of physics, I study history and philosophy of science, and econophysics. I like playing heavy metal drums (favorite band: Dream Theater), surfing, skateboarding, and playing video games (favorite game: Skyrim).
