Art Historian | Museum Conservation | Artist
I am an artist and an activist with a rich and diverse background. My childhood was a tapestry woven with experiences from Iceland, Germany, and America, each place leaving its indelible mark on my soul. Traveling has been the thread that has stitched the fabric of my identity, shaping my worldview and inspiring my artistic expression.
A decade ago, I embarked on my college journey, fulfilling a long-cherished dream of studying in France after graduating from high school. The time spent in France was an extraordinary chapter in my life, a woven web of eye-opening experiences that ignited a profound love for art. As an artist, I find solace and purpose in translating the beauty of our world onto canvas, paper, and sculpture.
My current home is in Texas, where I reside alongside my husband and our enchanting nine-year-old daughter, Stella. Recently, I embraced a new role as a Museum Event Specialist at the McNay Art Museum. Surrounded by the timeless artistry of luminaries such as Monet and Picasso, my passion for art finds new heights within the museum's hallowed halls.
Returning to academics has been a profoundly fulfilling endeavor, rekindling my love for the study of art and the intricate tapestry of our world's history. Pursuing my master’s degree in art history is a stepping stone to my ultimate dream of returning to Europe, where I endeavor to continue my personal and professional growth journey.
My comprehensive resume, detailing my professional experiences and diverse portfolio, showcasing my successful projects and accomplishments, collectively provides compelling evidence of my wide-ranging capabilities and extensive knowledge. This positions me as an instrumental asset to any business.
I eagerly look forward to deepening my writing and art skills and expanding my reservoir of knowledge. Your presence in this awe-inspiring journey is a gift that I cherish immensely.
