I am a transgender, nonbinary, queer, mixed-race Latine from Southern California currently residing in South Florida. I bring this perspective to all aspects of my life, including my academic studies, professional work, and personal endeavors. The intersection of queerness and latinidad have long been of interest to me, which is clearly evidenced by the trajectory of my work in the ASU Masters of Social Justice & Human Rights. 

I am experienced in the professional Diversity, Equity and Inclusion field, having served on the Latinx Council as part of the DEI Collective at AMC Theatres and currently serve as Director of Racial & Gender Equity Advancement at YWCA South Florida, a Miami nonprofit. 

I hope to leverage my professional expertise, personal experience, and academic studies to transition into a role directly supporting the queer black and brown community.
