Graduate Compendium, MA Social Justice & Human Rights
Welcome to "Ni de aquí, ni de allá," my graduate compendium. This compendium serves as the Capstone Element of my Master of Arts in Social Justice & Human Rights at Arizona State University and represents a culmination of almost 2 years of academic growth, personal exploration, and theoretical development.
You may recognize the title of this compendium as a Mexican proverb and sentiment frequently expressed by Mexican immigrants and children of immigrants. It means "from neither here, nor there," and speaks to the sense of not-belonging in either world and occupying "in-between" spaces that are central themes of this compendium.
Below you will see several buttons leading you to various sections of this compendium which are also available in the menu buttons at the top right of this page. I suggest you start with "ABOUT THE AUTHOR" followed by "INTRODUCTION," which will delve deeper into the topics and goals of this compendium. For questions regarding the terminology I use or the resources cited, please see the "GLOSSARY OF TERMS" and "WORKS CITED," respectively.
Thank you for reading!
