Throughout the workshop I will point to the places in the textbook that connect with what we are doing in class together. Although not 'required reading' I really suggest following up our lessons with textbook readings. Always feel free to bring any questions you have to the workshop!
Also, there is so much more in this book than what we will have time to cover. One advantage of this book is that you can read it on your own; it's not necessary to have someone 'teach' it to you. But of course if you ever have any questions please always feel free to reach out to me.
