Mock Interviews

The NGSC Mock Interview Session is a fantastic opportunity to help NGSC students prepare for real job interviews in a supportive and realistic setting! In these sessions, you will engage with students as if you were the interviewer, asking questions based on their resumes and career goals. The purpose is to give students a safe space to practice their interview skills and receive valuable, honest feedback from professionals like you.  You'll help students refine their responses, improve their confidence, and provide insights into how they come across during interviews. This is a key opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience before stepping into real interviews while also receiving constructive feedback on their performance and first impressions.

The sessions will be facilitated by NGSC staff, and all prep materials will be provided to you one week before the event. We make it easy for you to help these students thrive while they gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed in the competitive job market! The ultimate goal is for you and a student to engage in a meaningful discussion and help students become comfortable talking about themselves and their experiences.  This is a low risk, high reward scenario for the students and your experience and feedback is greatly appreciated.
