Importing media
The first step involves using the media pool to import videos to the timeline. The clips must be added are the pre-recorded video bumper that contains the university logo and intro music, followed by a 5- 6 second title screen featuring the course prefix and a concise description of the video, for example, "Instructional Design and Development: Unit 1 Introduction." Then, the video of a faculty member who should speak for 5- 8 minutes.
Trimming
In this step, you will learn how to trim or cut the video clips, significantly if the clips with time specifications have exceeded the time limit.
Transitions
The next step is adding transitions to your video. The transitions expected in this project are a crossfade between each section of the video and a transition that fades to black at the end of the video.
