What Interning at the Library Means to Me
Interning at the Eagle Pass Public Library means having the chance to connect my academic learning with real community impact. It gives me the opportunity to apply human-centered design and instructional strategies in a space that values equity, inclusion, and lifelong learning. For me, this internship is not only professional growth—it is a way to give back to my hometown, strengthen access to education in a rural community, and contribute to programs that foster creativity, connection, and empowerment. By working alongside library staff and patrons, I will refine my leadership and design skills while deepening my commitment to building accessible, community-driven learning environments.
