Heather's Portfolio

Welcome to my digital world! My name is Heather Towell, and the first place that I want to invite you to is my back yard.  If you look above this section, you will see the spectacular view that I have in my back yard. It is one of the reasons why I chose to buy this property and make Rio Rico, Arizona my home.  My back yard faces the Tumacacori Mountains which is part of the Santa Rita Mountain Range, and I am lucky enough to say that those mountains and that view are the backdrop and inspiration for all of my family celebrations, special events, late night marshmallow roasts, family sing-alongs, guitar sessions, bike rides, and quiet evenings under the stars with the ones that I love.  

This digital portfolio will be a window into my family life, my academic life, and the dreams that I have for my future. Throughout the portfolio, I will be sharing my personal history, how I got to where I am today, my hobbies, information about my family and my pets, some of the most important accomplishments that I've made, an outline of my academic and professional goals, and a quirky detail about myself that should keep you entertained along the way.

In addition to those things, I'll be sharing a few writing samples from my past that will give you a better idea of what kind of a writer that I am. Hopefully, doing so will demonstrate the lens from which my world views come from, as well as demonstrate the fact that as technology and opportunities have increasingly advanced over the past decade, I am prepared to adapt my views and my writing style to include more technology, more innovation, and more creative ways to connect to people through innovative mediums that as a writer in the past, I could have never used before.
