Led the full production of a feature package on a local youth theater’s staging of Puffs, overseeing directing, filming and post-production. The piece documents the production process through performance and rehearsal footage, supplemented by interviews with cast and creative team members to provide context and perspective. Emphasis is placed on storytelling, execution and the developmental impact of theater on young performers. The final package reflects a structured, journalistic approach to arts coverage, integrating visual and narrative elements into a cohesive presentation.

I was the sole MMJ for this feature sports package on the ASU Beach Volleyball team, overseeing directing, filming and editing. The piece documents the team’s performance at the Sun Devil Classic, incorporating match footage and postgame interviews with players and coach Glattfelder to provide analysis and perspective. Emphasis is placed on execution, team dynamics and key moments from ASU’s wins over Arizona and Nebraska. The final package reflects a structured, journalistic approach to sports coverage, integrating visual storytelling with timely, game-focused reporting.

Led the full production of a feature sports package on high school baseball standout Kellan Tom, overseeing directing, filming and post-production editing. The piece highlights Tom’s development as a two-way player and his transition to the next level as an incoming ASU baseball commit. Through game footage and interviews, the story examines his impact on the field, versatility as both a pitcher and first baseman and the leadership qualities that have defined his high school career. The final package reflects a structured, journalistic approach to athlete storytelling, combining narrative depth with visually driven sports coverage.

As a Sports Intern at KCRA 3 Sacramento, I reported and edited a video package on the Los Angeles Chargers’ new training facility, The Bolt. Working under a tight deadline and traveling to Los Angeles for coverage, I coordinated footage, crafted the narrative, and provided on-air commentary highlighting the facility’s design and team impact. I used newsroom editing software (Adobe Premier Pro) to deliver a polished, timely piece that met broadcast standards. My boss, Del Rogers, praised the story’s pacing and clarity, calling it one of my strongest air checks of the internship.
