Enterprise Stories

As the sole editor, videographer, journalist and producer, I reported and produced an enterprise video profile on Corona del Sol volleyball standout Hayden Conner. I identified the story during senior night and conducted background research before contacting her family. I shot and lit in-depth interviews at her home and high school. Working independently under a tight deadline, I handled all field production, wrote and recorded reporter tracks and edited the final piece with grace given the sensitive subject matter. The project brought visibility to Conner’s personal loss and resilience, delivering a polished video that highlights her impact far beyond the court.

As the sole journalist and writer, I reported and produced an enterprise story examining the rapid growth of boys volleyball in the United States over the past decade. I conducted extensive research using participation data, governing body reports and historical records. I interviewed six coaches, administrators and the people working to grow boys volleyball to provide national context. Working independently under a tight deadline, I synthesized interviews and data into a clear, accessible narrative. The final story brought sustained attention to an undercovered trend in the sport and delivered a well-sourced explanation that educated readers on the factors driving boys volleyball’s expansion.
