Dynamic Path Planning and Traffic Simulation in ASU VIPLE

The ASU VIPLE Capstone Team developed intuitive example programs that showcase how complex automotive algorithms such as dynamic path planning and autonomous control methods can be created in ASU VIPLE, a graphical programming language. The team also maintained and improved a traffic simulator powered by the Unity game engine which interfaces with VIPLE programs that are running. These programs were used in a graduate student's research to simulate real traffic data from Maricopa County using VIPLE.
