Visitors participate more fully by making choices, interacting with exhibits and staff, voting, playing, and leaving their own messages for others. When visitors participate more actively, they have more memorable experiences.
Immersive Experiences
Sight, sound, touch, smell, and taste. Emotion. Some of the most memorable experiences don’t depend on grand displays or the latest technology: playing a musical instrument or a game, talking with pavilion hosts, sampling food or drink, or hearing a story can create a lasting impression for visitors of all ages.
Variety
Earth’s variety: plants and animals, the land and waters we live on, the art and tools we’ve crafted. This may be the first glimpse visitors have of the variety that makes up any one country, and the first time they truly become aware of the vast variety of life on the planet.
Futures
Past, present, and possible futures are an important part of the story each country tells. The ways in which time is represented varies. Our connection to the future and to each other comes with responsibility, opportunities for repair, and perhaps new ways of living together with the multiplicity of other people, beings, lands and waters, and our technologies.
