In Earth Systems Science for the Anthropocene (ESSA), we learn alongside those making change, bringing our disciplinary skills to an integrated earth system science: transdisciplinary, solutions and people centered, societally powerful, globally scaled, inclusive and just. We are embedded in the Global Futures Laboratory and housed in the new Center for Planetary Health (formerly ISTB7, corner of Rural and University).
The ESSA graduate scholars network is open to any currently enrolled graduate student at ASU. Our main form of communication is through email and slack channel. Please complete the form below in order to join the network and be available to access applications to ESSA summer graduate grants, the ESSA network, IIITSEs (Immersive, Interdisciplinary, Identity-based Team Science Experiences), ESSA courses/workshops, and...our fun social events!
