• Teachers Erika has contact with at Somerset Academy Skyway Campus

  • We got feedback to implement wheels on the tables, teacher's stand, and hologram module.

  • We were also advised to increase the size of the tables and teacher's stand to provide more desk space and accommodate older students and taller teachers.

  • To reduce costs, we have moved to building the desks out of plywood with a pin, height adjustment system.

  • Teachers recommended some kind of safety feature for the desk storage so the table doesn't fall on any fingers. So either rubber stoppers to provide a gap between the storage bin and the bottom of the desk, or a hydraulic lift to keep the desktop open.

What are you going to create/prototype in order to conduct your test?

• Life size student desk made out of cardboard

• Life size teacher stand made out of cardboard

Who is responsible for creating your testing medium/prototype?

• Reydam Erika, Lazlo, and Flor will all work together to build the prototype

• Reydan has experience working in the design studio

Where will you conduct your test?

• In the classroom (physical tests)

• At Somerset Academy Skyway Campus (visual/opinion based)

How will you record/track the feedback of your users and interviewees?

• Will conduct surveys after the customer has had a chance to observe and learn about the product

• Surveys can possibly be in person with one of us writing down the customer's answers and feedback

What metrics will you use to determine success or failure?

• Usability Testing (Google Excel Ranked 1-5)
