Welcome!
 Approach to Teaching
My approach to teaching is grounded in a simple principle in working with students: do your best. I believe that a high-quality learning experience begins with clarity, purpose, and care for both the subject matter and the students themselves. Whether in an online or face-to-face classroom, I strive to create environments where students feel challenged, supported, and engaged.
Engaged and Inclusive Learning
I have taught students at many stages of life, from first-year college students to adult learners returning to higher education. In every setting, I emphasize interactive learning through discussion, collaborative projects, and peer engagement. These approaches not only help students understand the material but also promote confidence, communication, and awareness of diverse perspectives. This are essential skills in any academic or professional setting.
Intentional Course Design
Each course I teach begins with clear goals and a plan for how students will achieve them. I work to ensure that course content is relevant, applicable, and aligned with learning outcomes. I continuously refine my teaching based on best practices and student feedback, and I take pride in making complex material easier to understand.
Lifelong Learning and Leadership
Higher education is both a privilege and a responsibility. I encourage students to see themselves not only as learners, but as future leaders who are capable of critical thinking, ethical action, and meaningful contribution. I bring my own leadership experience and cultural perspective into the classroom to help students connect their academic efforts to larger personal and societal goals.
What inspires me most about teaching is the opportunity to witness growth where students begin to believe in their abilities, take ownership of their learning, and imagine new possibilities for their future. Being part of that transformation is both a responsibility and a privilege I never take for granted.
Commitment to Excellence
Teaching is a craft that demands ongoing effort. I am committed to creating a classroom experience that is intellectually stimulating, practically useful, and personally meaningful. My goal is not only for students to succeed in the course, but to develop a deeper appreciation for learning that extends far beyond it.
