TEACHING

At ASU, I teach undergraduate courses in Population and Applied Research Methods, as well as Advanced Sociological Research Methods (a hands-on research practicum). At the graduate level, I teach courses on sociology of families and qualitative research methods. I previously led the Summer Undergraduate Program for Engaging in Research until 2022.

In Spring 2025, my Advanced Methods undergraduate course developed a collaborative qualitative research project focused on dating in college. A preliminary report about some of the key findings is accessible below.
