I am an assistant professor of Sociology in the School of Social and Family Dynamics at Arizona State University. My research takes a sociological and family demography perspective to exploring family change and changing kinship norms and participation. My work has been published in Demography, Population Development Review, Journal of Marriage and Family, Population Studies, Studies in Family Planning, Demographic Research, Health & Place, American Behavioral Scientist, and Sociological Forum.
