On October 5th, 2019, the ABA Lab volunteered at the Zoo Walk for Autism Research at the Phoenix Zoo.
On October 28th, 2018, the ABA Lab volunteered at the Autism Speaks Walk at Tempe Beach Park.
On October 13th, 2018, the ABA Lab and members of ASU's Autistics on Campus supported the Zoo Walk for Autism Research at the Phoenix Zoo by volunteering, even in the rain!
On April 20th, 2018, the ABA Lab participated for a second year in A day of Social Outreach organized by the College of Health Solutions and spent the morning preparing and serving meals at St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix.
On February 27th, 2018, the ABA Lab helped Dr. Heather Bimonte-Nelson and her Neuroscience of Memory and Aging lab introduce kids to neuroscience and the field of psychology during Bimonte-Nelson's award-winning Brain Fair for Children.
On February 24th, 2018, the ABA Lab hosted a table at the ASU Open Door on the Tempe Campus. We taught the community about the brain and provided them an opportunity to see and touch a real sheep brain!
On October 29th, 2017, Cory Riecken represented the ABA Lab while volunteering at the Autism Speaks Walk with SARRC at Tempe Beach Park.
On October 7th, 2017, members (and honorary members) of the ABA Lab served as clean up crew for the 13th Annual Zoowalk for Autism Research at the Phoenix Zoo.
On September 23, 2017, members of the ABA Lab volunteered at the Special Olympics Four Peaks Area Swim Competition in Mesa.
On March 17, 2017, the ABA lab participated in A day of Social Outreach organized by the College of Health Solutions and the College of Nursing & Health Innovation to support nonprofit organizations and those they serve in the Phoenix metro area. Our lab spent the morning preparing and serving meals at St. Vincent de Paul in Phoenix.
