Powder Perfect is an exploration into mindfulness as a snacking moment.
Powder Perfect invites the user to add finishing touches to their treat in their own way by adding the powdered sugar topping using the provided stencils or their own creativity. This both activates the focus and interest of the user, but also occupies the hands in order to ensure a meaningful moment without electronics.
The chocolate comes in packs of two to be shared by loved ones and create a more powerful memory.

I’m Evan McKernan, a senior in Graphic Design at ASU. I have been a resident of Chandler, Arizona my whole life. My love for design comes from an appreciation of craftsmanship and style. A special interest I have is the motorsport of drifting, and the culture surrounding it.
About Powder Perfect
My project, Powder Perfect, was inspired by Gen Z’s intimate connection with the internet and social media. By taking elements that make social media addictive and time-consuming, like the addictive satisfying videos, my project aims to give Gen-Z users a fresh way to reclaim their time and experience those elements outside social media.
