MELDY is a multi-flavor, ice cream-filled chocolate bar that combines the richness of dark chocolate with creamy ice cream.
MELDY transforms the regular evening treat into a moment of connection. An ice cream-filled chocolate bar designed to be snapped, stacked, mixed, and shared, MELDY supports playful interaction, reflection, and conversation through prompts in the packaging. By turning a familiar moment of relaxation into an intentional ritual, MELDY creates space to connect with the people around us and make the small everyday moment.

Hi, I’m Aanya! I’m a senior Industrial Design student at ASU with a minor in Studio Art. I’m a hands-on designer who enjoys exploring different areas of product design and learning through making. I’m interested in creating products that are not only functional, but make people want to use, keep, and enjoy them.
About Meldy
For the chocolate itself, I wanted to bring flavor variety and interaction into a single treat! The experience is meant to create a break from the mundane, using dessert to create small moments of joy, connection, and gratitude that we often miss in our everyday lives.
