XVIII Latin American Regional IAU Meeting

A look at the Universe from the heart of the Mayan Riviera

The XVIII Latin American Regional IAU Meeting will be held in Cancun, Mexico, from November 30th to December 4th, 2026.

This meeting is targeted to professional astronomers, postdocs, postgraduate and undergraduate students pursuing a research career in Astronomy. As previous editions of this meeting, XVIII LARIM will provide a forum for scientific discussion and will promote new collaborations among Latin American astronomers.

The XVIII LARIM web page will list recommended hotels and accommodation facilities at a wide range of costs. Participants are requested to make reservations themselves. The LOC will organize a social dinner, details of which will be provided at a later date.

The conference will take place at Cancun Center, at the heart of Cancun hotel zone, just 20 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
