We wanted to reach out to let you know that we are here and are a (free) resource for families that are grieving the death of someone important. Many of the traditional avenues that families have pursued for grief support are unavailable at this time, and we are here to help families connect to current resources and to offer ongoing support or “stop-gap” support.

While some of our programs will be modified due to social distancing requirements, we are working hard to develop and implement ongoing programming that serves our grieving population, particularly during the summer months.

Some of our current supports for families in grief include (5/18/2020):

Grief Support E-Newsletter for Families – a monthly email that includes activities, online resources, and community events that may be of interest to families.

Virtual Grief Support Groups for Adults & Parents/Caregivers – ongoing and one-time virtual groups that offer connection, conversation, and peer support.

Virtual Support/Activities for Children & Teens – virtual groups that offer art activities, group conversation, and engagement for children and teens.

Camp Erin – Summer Camp for Grieving Children & Teens (modified program for summer 2020) – We are still accepting applications for Camp Erin 2020 and are exploring modified programming options. Instead of an overnight camp we will likely offer one-day camps for children, teens, and families to adhere to social distancing requirements.

Resources and Support – our staff can help connect families to other resources and supports online and within the community.

All programs are offered free of charge to all participants.
