Aster has custom designed and built this system for the inspection of magnet blocks. The system measures the integrated dipole moment of a magnet block and its orientation relative to a datum surface on the block. Relative accuracy of the dipole moment is within +/-0.1%, the direction of orientation to within +/- 0.1 degree.
