As an innovative program that integrates a scientific approach with practical skills, Food Trades provides a solid foundation in the methods and science of cooking through exposure to the preparation, cooking, plating, presentation, and service of food. Special emphasis is placed on culinary tools, equipment, techniques, and specialty ingredients.
Further, students are expected to possess competencies (skills and knowledge), values, and other attributes of the graduates, which include the development of Technical Skills and Industrial Technology.

BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY major in Garment Technology is concerned with preparing industrial technicians or technologists with a robust theoretical understanding of technology and practical exposure to the garment industry.
The Garments Technology program is designed to develop skilled industrial technicians and technologists for the garments industry. The curriculum includes courses such as Basic Dressmaking, Lingerie, Basic and Advanced Dress Design and Construction, Fashion Accessories, Basic and Advanced Tailoring, High-Speed Sewing Machine Operation, Digitization in Garments Industry, Mass Production Technique and Management, and Project Development along with Garments Technology. This program combines robust theoretical knowledge with practical training, preparing graduates to excel in various roles, including garment technologist, fashion designer, production manager, and quality control specialist. It emphasizes modern technology and innovation, ensuring students are well-equipped to meet the demands of the fast-paced fashion and apparel sector.
