Dr. Alex H. Navarroza
SUC President II
Along with our rigorous efforts for the transition of BISCAST into a full-fledged smart, future-proof, technopreneurial, green, and healthy Southeast Asian University of Technology (SEAUTech) and setting strategic initiatives towards industry preparedness and internationalization, it has also been our topmost priority to continually improve our quality management system.
Inspired by our dearest stakeholders, we always give utmost attention to the institution's compliance to the quality standards in providing quality applied sciences and technology education and relevant services aligned to the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
For instance, to ensure offering of quality programs, accreditation has been our way and process to determine whether applicable and recognized standards are met. In this regard, let me seize the occasion on extending our special and deepest appreciation to the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) and its Accreditors for the untiring effort and support in reviewing and evaluating our programs.
As it commences today, October 10, and concludes until October 14, our College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) will be working on the accreditation of its programs: Preliminary Survey Visit for Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship (BSENTREP), Level I accreditation for Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences (BSESS) and Level I accreditation for Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BSEMC). In addition, our College of Trades and Technology (CTT) will work on the Preliminary Survey Visit for Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Construction Engineering Technology (BET CET), Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Electronics Engineering Technology (BET ECET), Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Electrical Engineering Technology (BET EET), Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BET MET), and Bachelor of Engineering Technology Major in Mechanical Engineering Technology specialized in Automotive Engineering Technology (BET MET-AET); while the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) will work on the Preliminary Survey Visit for Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
It is with high spirits that the targeted accreditation status be granted to the said programs, we ensure that everything is tantamount to the international academic standards and we shall continue on developing and offering programs that are in the lead of developing science and technology workforce while we pave the way towards becoming a smart campus to be known as SEAUTech.
Kudos in advance to everyone!
