About Us

 Aztechs 157 FIRST Robotics is a club at Assabet Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in Marlborough, MA which is run completely by volunteers and focuses on learning the art and technology of robotics. FIRST Robotics gives a place for individuals to gather to be part of a program that allow the students work as a group while having personal successes.  Providing them with access to tools and resources that allow them to find new and unconventional solutions to solve problems thru out the year. One goal is to design and build a robot in a 6 week period to compete in FIRST completions. Another important goal is to inspire and foster an appreciation in STEAM technologies in all participants. We also strive to instill a sense of teamwork and professionalism as well as help students develop interests and skills for their future. The team participates in various events to try and influence the next generations of robotic designers and engineers. These events include showcasing the robot at local malls, street festivals, parades, etc.
