Under the Student Experience Pillar of our 6-year strategic plan , career focuses on the following: Meaningful Work , Career Pathways , and Professional Skills .
Our Goal: Implement at least two career pathways that include college coursework and an internship.
Pathways programs allow students to explore various fields of interest - whether it's healthcare, technology, engineering, or the arts - while earning college credit and getting hands-on career exposure. Pathways are beneficial for all students, regardless of their academic standing or future plans. They provide hands-on learning experiences, build confidence, and help student identify their strengths and passions early on. Career exposure is a key component of pathways programs.
