Focused on students’ individual social-emotional needs. Scholars who receive individual counseling will meet with Ms. Krakowsky once per week for 8-weeks. If additional support is needed, Ms. Krakowsky will provide community referrals to the family.
Focused on increasing self-esteem, overcoming experiences of trauma, emotional regulation, coping skills, establishing and maintaining friendships and communication. Group counseling is offered in the fall and the spring, and scholars are identified via teacher referral. Groups run for 8-weeks and vary in size between 3-6 scholars.

AIA's Partnering with Parents workshops are offered once per month and focus on differnet topics that can support scholar success. Topics include attendance, conflict vs bullying, gang/drug prevention, awareness around social issues, suicide prevention, and SBAC preparation.
