PRESENTER COMPENSATION

• Staff who are delivering professional development (teaching) can be paid based on their individual daily or hourly rate for off-contract time spent to prepare the professional development and to deliver professional development up to a maximum of three (3) hours.

• Staff are required to submit a signed and approved extra duty pay form. You must record your hours in the comment section of the extra duty pay form and submit to Anita Moose via district mail after the PD event for payment.

• In the event that staff plan to use outside contract time to preparation to deliver professional development hours for a Master Teacher Pillar or other educational-based raise to base salary, they may not also be paid for their time.

• Presenters will receive a thank you gift!

In-house professional development (not including plan time) that occurs during the contracted day will not be subject to extra duty pay.
