David trained with a well respected firm of Chartered Accountants in Yorkshire and stayed with them for several years before moving to Cornwall to work for a large south west firm. In 1994 he formed his own business. Recognising the power of cloud accounting he has invested many hours researching and testing software. After forming links with the QuickBooks Online team in 2014 he became the first person in Cornwall to be awarded Advanced Pro Advisor status in 2016. David then formed Aspell Digital to provide QuickBooks Online training for businesses in the south west. The business now helps Quickbooks users all over the country. He has been a trustee of Young People Cornwall for over 20 years and has been chair for the last 7 years, even escorting HRH Prince William on his visit to "Zebs" youth drop in centre.
Rebecca has helped David build his accountancy business for the last 26 years. There was a small break when the children were at junior school, but now she is working again. Very much involved with the community, she has been treasurer and chair of the school PTA and is currently treasurer of the local Christmas Lights charity.
Helen is a qualified accountant, Advanced QuickBooks Pro Aadvisor and Rugby Union referee and coach. With years of experience of using large desktop accounting and payroll products she is able to provide valuable support to customers, as well as taking charge of the bookkeeping and payroll service we provide. In her spare time she helps out with the local junior rugby team each week as well as being their treasurer.
