The Earth revolves around the sun, and each day the sun hits the Earth at a different angle.
A solargraph seeks to capture this occurrence.
Solargraphy refers to long exposure photography meant to capture the movement of the sun in the sky. These exposures can last for a number of days, or weeks, or even years. During this summer session, teens constructed pinhole cameras to experiment with this process. Using aluminum cans and some patience, we built pinhole cameras, loaded them with photo-sensitive paper, and then set them up with a view of the sky, making an exposure for several days.
These are some of the results.
