Juan

My name is Juan Chaides, and I am a rising junior at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. This is my first session in the ASM Advanced Darkroom Photography program, and I have been doing photography at school and as a hobby for 3 years now. For my Artist Homage project, I created photos that emulate those of the photographer Zhong Lin. I was captivated by her usage of texture in her work. As well as, her strange almost intriguing methods of introducing concepts into her works and chose to run with this in my project.
